Considered as the largest democracy of the world (Mishra, 2019), General Election of India which is popularly known as Lok Sabha Election is always in the bird’s-eye view of media houses of the world. Media of Bangladesh had focused on the events of political parties and candidates participating in the Lok Sabha Election 2019 to publish news on the election as well. Taking Agenda Setting Theory as theoretical approach, this research intends to find out which political parties have got greater coverage in the national dailies of Bangladesh and what are the frequencies of those coverage. It also examines the presence of partial coverage towards any political parties or candidates. Findings of the research shows that, only five political parties have got coverage in the five national dailies of Bangladesh among 1,841 political parties of India participating in the Lok Sabha Election 2019. Among these parties, apart from Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Trinamool Congress got greater coverage than any other parties. And the researcher has found 20 sentences and 11 groups of sentences which can be identified as partial element towards any political party or candidate. As a whole, these elements don’t create any clear picture of support or oppose to any party or candidate but seem as a result of publishing news from various international media houses.
